Just getting my seat

apollo230: If one wants to learn about nature, go to nature. If there is such a thing as divine revelation, the natural world should be as good as any. If God indeed made heaven and earth, then surely He left logic and design embedded within its matrix for us to “read” first-hand (whenever practical). Therefore, books (any books) are to be considered second-hand sources at best if one is hoping to understand nature’s secrets.
Not when we’re talking about historical events laying far in the past. You won’t see any historical scientist reconstructing word war II based on evidence found in nature alone like bombs and other military stuff.
I also find it kinda strange that scientist aren’t considering a global flood serious, while there are so many writings about it from early civilization’s around the globe.
I don’t know why your comments are being held in moderation. Can you try posting some test posts?

it seems to be working now
I suspect first time registrants require the administrator to approve the first comment, and then the registrant is free to post thereafter.
Welcome by the way to our under-construction weblog.
Administrator (aka Sal),
That seems to be correct. Refer to my comments in the mechanics of the site posting.

o/ hello there, just testing
Welcom inunison. Sorry for the delay in posting your comments. You should have less problems posting now that the computer system sees you as a good guy and not a spammer.
Ok (this is Admin Sal not Admin JGuy),
I temporarily eased the new user restrictions so that new users comments will appear instantly.
So new users give it a whirl.
I’m still waiting for that Dembski-Shermer transcript.
