Teaching ID = A crime against humanity
Last week, a German court sentenced a 55-year old Lutheran pastor to one year in jail for “Volksverhetzung” (incitement of the people) because he compared the killing of the unborn in contemporary Germany to the holocaust. Next week, the Council of Europe is going to vote on a resolution imposing Darwinism as Europe’s official ideology. The European governments are asked to fight the expression of creationist opinions, such as young earth and intelligent design theories. According to the Council of Europe these theories are “undemocratic” and “a threat to human rights.” . . .

I was in Hungary recently, and had the opportunity to visit a Baptist church. I thought it would be a good place (and country) to do some creation style evangelism and/or speaking in the future. This seems to make it a stronger reason.
The pastor of my church in San Diego has warned us that such censorship is trying hard to make it into to America in the not too distant future. He warned that the church might not be allowed to speak against homosexuality as a sin. Such is the case, from my understading, in Canada already.
Thank the Intelligent Designer that we have a “First Amendment.” Even if there are moves to impose this sort of censorship, I think we here in America are in a better position to fight it.
